This project establishes the visual identity system for an exhibition gathering over 40 artists, designers, and researchers.

​

It visually reflects an inquiry into the complex socio-cultural structures of East Asia, dissected through the unique lens of textiles. 

 

The design attempts to capture the true essence of woven fabric. Typography is treated as individual "threads" that are intricately interwoven, forming a single "cloth" across the printed page.

​

Generative design techniques using Processing were incorporated into the creation process. By defining characters as threads through code, the system achieves both the organic texture and underlying rules of woven textiles on paper.
